Terms of service
The short version: use it freely for study and work, check any number before you rely on it, and accept that a free educational tool comes with no guarantees.

Agreement
These terms apply between you and BA II Plus Calculator, the operator of baiipluscalculator.com (“the site”). Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.
What you may do
Everything on the site is free to use, with no account and no usage limit, for personal study, coursework, exam preparation and professional work alike. You may:
- use the emulator and every calculator as often as you like;
- keep, print, screenshot or hand in the results and the shown working, including in assignments and client-facing documents, provided you have checked them;
- link to any page here, and quote a short passage from a guide with attribution and a link.
What you may not do
- Republish the site's pages, guides or source code as your own work, or redistribute them as a competing product.
- Claim affiliation with, or endorsement by, this site or Texas Instruments, or present a result from here as certified or professionally verified.
- Interfere with the service — probing or breaking security controls, or hammering it with automated traffic at a volume that degrades it for other people.
- Remove or obscure the attribution and trademark notices on any copy you do make.
Ownership and trademarks
The text, design, code and worked examples on this site belong to its operator. BA II Plus™ is a trademark of Texas Instruments Incorporated, used here only to describe the device this tool emulates; the site is an independent educational project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Texas Instruments.
No advice, and not an exam-room device
The site is an educational tool. Nothing on it is financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice, and no result constitutes a recommendation to enter into any transaction. Decisions about money are yours, and are worth taking to a qualified professional who knows your circumstances. See the disclaimer for the detail.
No online calculator is permitted in the CFA, CFP or FRM exam room. Use this to drill the keystrokes, then rehearse them on the physical device you will carry in, and check your exam provider's current calculator policy before test day.
Accuracy and warranty
The arithmetic is covered by an automated test suite checked against published worked examples, and errors are fixed as soon as they are reported. That is a description of care taken, not a warranty of correctness. The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Verify any figure before relying on it, particularly where a day-count convention, a compounding frequency or a sign convention could be read more than one way.
Availability
The site may be changed, interrupted or withdrawn at any time without notice. Calculators may be added, altered or removed, and no particular feature is promised to remain available.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage — including lost profits, lost opportunities, exam outcomes, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss — arising from your use of the site or from reliance on any figure it produces. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Links to other sites
Links to exam providers, standards bodies and reference material are offered for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their practices.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the site changes; the date at the top shows when they last were. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the revised terms.
