Privacy policy
This site is a set of static pages that do arithmetic in your browser. That architecture is also its privacy model: there is no account to create, no form to submit, and no server that ever sees your figures.

This policy explains how BA II Plus Calculator (baiipluscalculator.com) handles information when you use the site. It covers this website only, not any other site you reach from a link here.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal detail, because there is nothing on this site that needs one. There is no registration, no login, no newsletter signup and no contact form.
The figures you enter are never transmitted. Every calculation — the emulator's worksheets and each dedicated calculator page — runs in JavaScript inside your own browser. Your cash flows, loan balances, salaries and bond settlement dates are not sent to us, are not stored on a server, and are gone when you close the tab.
What is stored on your device
The site sets no cookies. It uses your browser's local storage for exactly two preferences, so the site looks the way you left it:

theme— whether you chose the light or dark surface, or left it following your system setting. -
calc-theme— which of the four calculator skins you picked.
Both hold a single short word, are readable only by this site, and are never sent anywhere. Clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings removes them, and the site works normally without them.
Hosting and server logs
The pages are served by a third-party hosting provider. Like any web server, it processes the technical data your browser sends with each request — your IP address, the URL requested, the time, your user agent and the referring page — in order to deliver the page and to protect the service against abuse. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you, we do not combine them with anything else, and we do not sell or share them.
Web fonts, and the one request that leaves your browser
The pages load the Inter and JetBrains Mono typefaces from Google Fonts
(fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Making that request
exposes your IP address and user agent to Google, as any request to any server does. It is
the only third-party request the pages make. Google's handling of that data is covered by its
own
privacy policy
.
Analytics
There is none. No analytics service, no tag manager, no tracking pixel, no session recorder and no heatmap tool is loaded on any page of this site.
Advertising
Some pages reserve blank space where an advertisement could appear later, but no advertising code is loaded at present — the reserved space renders nothing and contacts nobody. If that changes, this policy will be updated in the same release that turns ads on, and it will name the ad provider and describe what it collects. Until then there is no ad-related data collection to disclose.
If you email us
Writing to hello@baiipluscalculator.com means we hold your message and your email address, for as long as it takes to answer you and to keep a record of a reported bug. We use it for nothing else, and we do not add you to a mailing list. Please do not send account numbers, statements or other personal financial details — a bug report reproduces just as well with round numbers.
Links to other sites
The guides link to exam providers, standards bodies and reference material. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
Children
This is a study tool for finance coursework and professional exams. It is not directed at children under 13, and because it collects no personal information, none is knowingly collected from anyone of any age.
Your rights
Data-protection law — including the GDPR and the CCPA — gives you rights to access, correct, delete and port the personal data a service holds about you, and to object to its processing. We hold none, so for the site itself there is nothing to retrieve or erase: the preferences described above are already in your hands, and you can clear them in your browser. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, ask and it will be.
Changes to this policy
If the site's behaviour changes — an analytics tool, an advertising script, anything that touches your data — this page is updated before or with that change, and the date at the top moves. Material changes will be summarised here rather than buried.
